It is a disazo yellow pigment and is of particular interest to the plastics industry.
Pigment Yellow 180 is becoming increasingly important and is utilized in printing inks to suit particular applications where diarylide yellow pigments cannot be used.
A special grade is also commercially available which is recommended for thecoloration of solvent and water based packaging gravure and flexo printing inks.

Pigment Yellow 83 is a reddish yellow pigment with good resistance to both light and heat.
It possesses excellent fastness properties, which make it almost universally applicable.
It provides a reddish yellow hue, which is considerably more reddish than that of Pigment yellow 13 and at the same time very strong. Recrystallization is therefore rare under common processing conditions, even in highly transparent types.
Resistance to clear lacquers, calandering, and sterilization are consequently excellent.
Pigment Yellow 83 is used to an appreciable extent in plastics. It is compliant with the relevant purity requirements of EU Directive 94/62/EC, U.S. CONEG Toxics in Packaging Legislation and EU Directive 2011/65/EC (RoHS).. -

Pigment Yellow 139 is a reddish yellow pigment powder, with excellent processing stability, high transparency, excellent heat resistance and light fastness. Heat resistance in HDPE can be 250℃, but it will be disintegrated under temperature higher than 250℃. It show good migration resistance in flexible PVC. And can be a excellent replacement of Pigment Yellow 83.
It equivalence is YELLOW K1841, Novoperm Yellow M2R, YELLOW L2140, YELLOW H1R, which are allowed to be used in PP, PE, ABS, PVC, plastics, printing and coating, BCF yarn and PP fiber.
