Variety characteristics

Solvent Violet 59 has high tinting strength, excellent thermal resistance and light fastness, and can be used in the coloring of engineering plastics. It is also used for the pre-coloring of spinning of PET.

Reddish violet, high tinting strength, excellent fast resistance, applicable in pre-coloring of PET spinning.

Chemical properties

Dark violet powder.

Soluble in ethanol, colorless in concentrated sulfuric acid, bluish light red after dilution. The absorption wavelength (λ Max) is 545nm.

Application

Solvent Violet 59 is suitable for dyeing polyester and its blended fabrics, dyeing polyester by high temperature and high pressure, dyeing light to medium color.It can be used for direct printing of terylene cotton cloth with VAT dye in the same bath and reactive purple K-3R in the same pulp.The whiteness of bleached cotton cloth can be increased by the simultaneous dip of Solvent Violet 59 and fluorescent whitening agent DT. Can also be used for dyeing triacetate fiber, but not for dyeing diacetate fiber, nylon and acrylic fiber.
