Color characterization
The chemical structure of Pigment Orange 43 is trans-form of pi ketone pigment, showing bright reddish orange. Pigment Orange 43 has good tinting strength, only need 0.9% pigment to prepare 1/3 SD of flexible PVC with 5% titanium dioxide,0.25% with 1% titanium dioxide.

Varieties characteristics
Pigment Orange 43 has excellent light fastness which can be up to degree eight even diluted to a low concentration. It has good heat resistance when used for polyolefin, the heat-resistance is about 280 ℃ in PE and PET. However, the heat resistance significantly decreases when the concentration is below 0.1% in PE. It is also dissolve and its color change to yellow with low concentration in PET. Pigment Orange 43 is suitable for coloring general polyolefin and engineering plastics in outdoor. For PVC, the permeability resistance is great. But the bleeding phenomenon occurs in the pigment with low concentration and plasticizer with high concentration. Pigment Orange 43 is suitable for coloring of polypropylene. Pigment Orange 43 can cause serious warpage of crystal plastic products.
