New energy vehicles, particularly pure electric vehicles, now occupy an increasing portion of the automobile market as global oil costs keep rising.

While new energy cars have voltages ranging from 200V to 800V, the parts of electric vehicles are frequently subjected to higher voltages and currents. As a result, the criteria place on the materials utilized are higher and stricter.

The voltage in new energy vehicle, on the other hand, can reach 400V DC in the battery circuit and 1000V AC in the engine circuit. It will pose a huge threat to life and health to human body. For this reason, the live parts are typically colored bright orange so that they can be quickly and easily identified. Orange wiring harnesses and pipes are used on electric vehicles to signify that the connected components are hazardous high-voltage components. Our company has introduced the Pigcise Orange 5HR series of high-temperature nylon orange pigments, suitable for PA6/66, PPS, and other materials, with excellent thermal stability, migration resistance, and anti-aging performance, in response to the orange demand for nylon parts used in electric vehicles. Pigcise Orange 5HR is commonly used in high-temperature special engineering plastics besides nylon, because its heat resistant up to 340 °C. It has good stability and can operate in a high-temperature environment for a long period without fade. The light fastness of Pigcise Orange 5HR achieves 7-8 in 1/25 standard depth PA6.
